Had heart failure and heart working at 25%. Need help in selecting food with no salt. I feel at times that I am starving and dont know what to eat. I am not overweight. Exercise 3 times a week for 1 hour in therapy pool. Please help!!!

You should never feel starving a good source of food would be your oily fish, sweet potato and thigs like brown basmati rice eating foods with a low GI rate will keep you fuller for longer.

Cook all your fresh and frozen vegetables with fresh garlic and lemon juice. Use Mrs. Dash seasonings, as they are totally salt free and so full of flavor. Stay away from canned foods as they are full of salt. As a side, have you spoken with your physician about a pace maker since your heart is only working at 25%? I have one and it has made a huge difference in my life. Good luck.
